Compassion International has been changing lives around the world for over 50 years, by linking sponsors with needy children in Third World countries. Many Christian artists are advocates of Compassion, actively encouraging people to sponsor a little boy or girl. This year's festival artists Rebecca St. James, Michael W. Smith, Alathea, Justin McRoberts, Pillar and Rachael Lampa have seen Compassion in action in other countries, and sponsor children themselves. Past SWC artists Audio Adrenaline, Phil Keaggy and Randy Stonehill are also friends of Compassion, as are many of the Spirit West Coast leadership team.
